                After much experimentation and feedback, I have decided to offer paid readings to those interested. I have felt a real connection to the Vanir Glyphs since their creation and have found them to be a valuable tool to me and they have definitely enhanced my ability to read for others. I have been very surprised at the results of free readings I have been doing and the amazing feedback the querants have given me. Several have approached me with interest in have paid readings done due to the great results of the readings I have done for their friends and relations. Most of all I have found the work very rewarding and feel it has taken me to a whole new level of intuitive feeling that I definitely would like to refine.
               I have been reading tarot since I was about 12 years old and also have experience with the Futhark runes. However I have never ventured into doing public readings, and most of my experience is personal or relegated to my close family and friends. Doing readings for virtual strangers is something I cannot claim to have much experience in, yet my recent free readings have revealed to me that I have the potential to do such readings just as effectively.
              Because of this, I have decided to offer paid readings at a very affordable price to gain some experience and hopefully some testimonials from those I read for. Given that I live in a rural area with poor connectivity, I cannot offer live readings at this time. The readings will instead be performed by myself after an initial email consultation with the clients. After I perform each reading I will write a report for the client explaining the results in detail, which will include an explanation of the cast itself, background information on each draw within the reading as well as its meaning, and conclude with my own personal notes and suggestions. I will then send the report to the client and they may correspond to me with any comments or questions they might have about the results.

Vanir Glyphs

Nine Ways of the Vanir: In Depth Personal Reading

The Nine Ways Cast is an in depth reading exploring the querant's current situation, personal goals and personality, and an outline for the actions required to bring about positive change in ones life. Each glyph drawn corresponds to the Nine Ways of the Vanir listed in the Alvissmal and each signifies a particular aspect of the individual and their situation. I will perform the reading and compose a two to three page report on the results which will be transferred to the client via email. This report will include a chart of each glyph, its position, and a detailed examination of each glyph and how it applies to the querant's life and situation. Also included will be personal notes and insights that fall outside of the scope of the glyphs, as well as a conclusion and overview of the reading. After the report is recieved, I will then be open to field any comments or follow up questions from each client via email. 

Though I designed this cast specifically for the Vanir Glyphs, I would also be happy to perform the same reading using my tarot of choice, The Steampunk Tarot, or by using the traditional Elder Futhark runes. Njord's Toes: 5 Glyph Relationship Reading

Njord's Toes is a 5 glyph cast created to examine a specific relationship for positive and negative qualities, its likely outcome, and proposed courses of actions to create a healthy relationship. Each glyph signifies a specific aspect of the relationship and its proposed future, bringing hidden issues to light and clarifying any of the querant's personal concerns regarding it. I will perform the reading and compose a 1-2 page report on the results which will be transmitted to the client via email. This report will include a detailed account of the reading and results including each glyph, the meaning of its position within the draw, and detailed examinations of the glyph and how it applies to the relationship in question. Also include will be my own intuitive insights and a conclusion that gives a concise overview of the reading and its themes. I will correspond with the client via email prior to reading to learn the basic details of the relationship, for example the nature of the relationship (spouse, lover, platonic) and the names of the two individuals involved. I will also tailor each reading to any specific concerns about the relationship the querant may have. After the reading, I will also followup with the client and address any questions they might have about the reading and results. 

This reading can also be performed using the Steampunk Tarot or the Elder Futhark Runes per client preference.

Freyja's Cats: 2 Glyph Single Question Draw

Freyja's Cats is a 2 glyph draw that is designed to answer a specific question from the querant. I have found that the two glyph drawing gives an additional level of clarity and meaning to the answer when the meanings of each glyph are combined. I will correspond with the client via email prior to reading to receive the question they wished to be addressed. I will then perform the reading and send the results via a one or two paragraph email explaining the meanings of the glyphs drawn and how they interact to create the specific answer to the client's question. 

This reading can be performed via Steampunk Tarot or Elder Futhark Runes per client preference.

The Paradox of Open Mindedness

Dualism at it's most sentimental and least truthful... One of the catch all phrases of modern paganism is OPEN MINDEDNESS. I myself am not immune to it's use, because it implies something that I feel is positive, in moderation. Going Heathen: A guide for transitioners

I wanted to write this post from the standpoint of someone who found heathenry while practicing a pagan/wiccan faith, to give those unfamiliar with the Norse viewpoint some tips and pointers in the process of deciding if heathenry might be  a path you are interested in. As most know, their is much eclecticism in the faith of Vanatru, as well as more universalist Asatru, so some of these options are inherently more friendly to those who are transitioning from another pagan path to this one. Heathenry is not a path unfriendly to outsiders in the general sense, unless one is a hard core reconstructionist or traditionalist, and today's mainstream heathen community does include this, but such exclusionary views represent the minority, rather than the majority in my experience.
