Freyja's Cats Book Giveaway! Enter now!
Hi all!
I have decided to do another little giveaway for everyone this month! In order to share some love and clear up some space on my books shelves for new acquisitions.
I called this the Freyja's Cats giveaway because of the pendant necklace I am giving away as part of the prize. I made this necklace a few months ago with the intention to sell but loved it so much I held onto it. However I have yet to wear it and so decided it would fit well with this giveaway as an added bonus!
The necklace has a very long chain, around 30+ inches, so it can be slipped easily over the head without the fuss of a clasp. Image is one inch square, all antique bronze finish including chain and claw charm.
The Books being Given Are as Follows
- HOW TO see and read the Aura by Ted Andrews
- SPIRIT GUIDES and ANGEL GUARDIANS by Richard Webster
- SEXUAL ECSTASY and the DIVINE by Yasmine Galenorn
- 13 LESSONS for PLEASING the DIVINE by Lady Raya
- The COMPLETE BOOK of ASTROLOGY by Caitlin Johnstone
I have expanded the conditions for this giveaway to be worldwide in scale, as long as the cost of shipping is not too exhorbitant. I am willing to spend up to about twenty dollars give or take on shipping, but will work with any and all if I can. If you are the winner, please allow 2-3 weeks for me to ship the items, my goal for receipt of items is about Mid December for the winner.
I will also be working on another giveaway of a complete set of Vanir Glyphs as well as instructions and meanings, this giveaway will likely be started around mid December, so if you are interested keep a lookout for that coming post!
In Frith,
Cena

Ooh, some good books there! I think my favourite book right now is Visions of Vanaheim by Svartesol et al. but it's hard to choose just one!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I have a favorite book just yet. I'm still struggling, trying to decide on my path so I am reading from a lot of different traditions. I do enjoy the two volume set Our Troth and I just got Mrs. B's Guide to Household Witchery for my birthday a few months ago.
ReplyDeleteKrystal, Visions of Vanaheim is defo a Vanatru essential and as close as we have to a "classic" as of yet. However I have to admit the quality is variable from chapter to chapter. Defo on the must have list though. =)
ReplyDeleteKathy, I like the Troth books as well, though Im not recon they do have alot of great historical information and practical material. =)
Yeah, I'm not recon either but you're right that the historical information is pretty darned good. I love learning about the history of the people and how their perceptions of the aesir and vanir evolved over time. I haven't gotten too far into the practical material yet but I'm eager to get to that part.
DeleteKathy, I defo recommend two of the Troth authors other books, Grundy (Gundarsson) also wrote two books called Teutonic Magic and Teutonic Religion that are really very good, two of my favorites.
DeleteA lovely giveaway, this needs sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI really love the necklace! And what a great give away.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellie,
DeleteI made a similar one with a gorgeous image of Freyja too but my daughter got it wet sadly and the ink was ruined on the picture. =(
It's a tossup between three books: The Veils' Edge: Exploring the Boundries of Magic (willow polson & m. macha nightmare), Hedge-Rider: Witches and the Underworld (eric de vries), & Pagan Christmas: The Plants, Spirits, and Rituals at the Origins of Yuletide (christian ratsch, claudia muller-ebeling). These three not only gave, & give, me much to contemplate, but opened up Worlds. (*gorgeous* necklace...thanks Linda for sharing!)
ReplyDeleteI need to pick up Hedge Rider, is one I have been contemplating reading for awhile now. =)
DeleteBooks! Yay! :D
ReplyDeleteI mean... my favorite? Wow, um, I have a bookcase of favorites! Right now I'm reading up on Odin and the runes, so I'm spending a lot of time with "Taking Up the Runes" by Diana Paxson.
DeleteI haven't read that one but I know several people who have recommended it.
DeleteIt's so hard to pick a favorite!! Right now I'm reading Dedicant by Thuri Calafia and a bit of Grimassi on the side. My favorite paranormal fiction series is Nora Robert's Three Sisters Island Triliogy.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!
Hmmm I have not read any of those, will have to check out the Three Sisters Island books, always looking for good fiction.
DeleteI am quite fond of Northern Tradition for the Solitary Practitioner: A book of Prayer, Devotional Practice, and the Nine Worlds of Spirit by Raven Kaldera and Galina Krasskova.
ReplyDeleteNever understood why some don't like the Northern Tradition book, I read it an I really enjoyed it myself, I prefer to judge a book by its substance myself. =) I guess the association with Raven makes some squeamish.
