Last night's visitors...

Interesting night last night. As I was getting ready for bed, the door was cracked open to the hallway. I saw someone coast by, looking kind of old fashioned in a white Victorian maid's uniform. They seemed in a hurry to get to my daughter's room, something that doesn't phase me anymore. These spirits are never harmful, in fact the have a caring, subservient energy in relation to her. In my eyes they are akin to her spiritual "nannies." This time it was quite a bold display, almost a full bodied apparition, so I did pause for a moment. Then I continued about my business.

I turned off the light and climbed in bed a few minutes later. As I turned to the right I caught a reflection of light in the glass of a picture across the room. The picture is across from the window, and at first I thought it was reflected moonlight. But as I moved in bed to get a better look, the light was static, seeming to come from outside the window. Just a three to four inch spot of light glowing coppery gold. It seemed odd cause the center was dark, yet he outer shell was glowing brightly.

So I'm moving around in bed like wth is this? I get up to check it out, finally. All of the sudden its like it just shoots away and is gone faster than any insect or starlight could move. I am kinda freaked by the way it moves. Anyway that was it, it didn't come back and I fell asleep.

Very strange experience, because it was almost like something was spying on me. That was the feeling I got, of being watched. I also felt as if whatever it was couldn't pass into my home, perhaps because of he wards. The strangest part was I could see it only in the glasses reflection, when I was looking at the reflected area there was nothing there. Yet when I looked at the reflection, it was still there.

I'm not freaked out as I felt no malice from it, though I do wonder why it was watching me so intently. Any ideas what this might be? Or similar experiences? Never saw anything like it before....
