CELTIC AUTUMN GIVEAWAY!

It's been awhile since I had a giveaway. I planned on having one when my followers list reached 100, but never had the time. I am now at 108 followers and couldn't be happier that so many of you actually enjoy my little blog, so its time to give back.

I have recently acquired some items that are Celtic in nature, and relating to Celtic spirituality and myth. I am definitely fascinated with the European mythos, and have thumbed through a couple books. But as I focus on the Norse tradition, these items are not particularly relevant to me at the present time. Rather than have them collect dust, I decided they would make a wonderful giveway for any of my readers who might be interested in a Celtic path or are interested in exploring the culture and spirituality of the Celts.

Items included in Giveaway as Follows

Celtic Women's Spirituality by Edain McCoy

Celtic Magic by DJ Conway

366 Celt: A Year and a Day of Celtic Wisdom and Lore by Carl McColman

Paul Borda (Dryad Designs) Mannanan Plaque (New)

Item Description:   Mannanan is the warrior god of the sea for whom the Isle of Man is named. On his seahorse, Splendorous Mane, with his weapon that never missed its mark, chain mail that no weapon could penetrate, and a mantle that made him invisible, he ruled Elysium, the kingdom under the ocean. Rhiannon's consort and son of the sea god Llyr, Mannanan protects sailors, assists with water magic and astral projection, bestows agelessness and is deeply connected with water fairies. His name is written in Theban script on the banner.

  1. I've struggled the past few years with finding my path and only recently decided that lack of commitment was what kept me wavering all the time so tonight during the Samhain ritual I plan on formally committing to the Celtic path. I still have a great deal of love and respect for the Norse gods, but I think this is where my heart really is.

    1. I'm glad to hear you have found what is meaningful to you Kathy. I felt much the same when I found the Vanir gods, yet was expected as a heathen to follow the Aesir as well. I respect the Aesir gods but my heart truly lies with the Vanir. Good luck with the contest!
